Julian Suhr about his Y-REF 8 Custom:

"In 2017, I designed my Y-REF guitar in cooperation with C.GIG Guitars. Christoph Garwels was open for all my ideas and advised me well, so that we could design a guitar which suits my personal taste and meets my requirements. With its versatile technical configuration including two humbuckers with split coil options and an added piezo system the Y-REF is a total allrounder. Due to the lightweight construction, the comfrotable fanned fret system and C.GIG´s own extremely stable tuning mechanics the Y-REF is my main guitar during studio productions and on stage spanning projects from metal to pop to musical."
